Experience and Qualifications:
Basic working knowledge of mechanical, electronic and electrical repair, welding experience helpful. Must be a self starter, able to work without direct supervision, have good time management skills. Electro Mechanical experience a plus.
Education and Training:
Minimum of two years of production maintenance experience or two years of maintenance education.
$18 - $22/hour
Starting pay will depend on qualifications and experience. Additional $1.00/hour shift premium when working on 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing manufacturing equipment, and building maintenance. Must have experience in robotics or be willing to learn through training and educational seminars. Must be mechanically inclined and have working knowledge of mechanical, electronic and electrical repair. Fabrication and / or ammonia refrigeration experience would be helpful. This is a "jack of all trades" position, from building to machine maintenance, so the successful candidate must have a variety of knowledge and problem solving skills to handle a diverse set of situations.
The successful candidate will work the second shift after a training period on first shift.
